is in her early twenties. Originally from Australia she now works
in London as a Nanny.
Why
did you work with Ben, what were your goals and what had you tried
before?
After
being in the country for just over 4 months and just having moved
to london I didn’t want the great food to go straight to my waist
I thought it would be a good idea get a personal trainer.
In
the past I had tried Weight watchers which I found ok. This time
though I had the goal of looking great when I went back to Australia
to see my family.
How
did you find the experience?
I
loved the training sessions! Ben is a very understanding person
and he really wanted to get to know me and my reason’s for wanting
to train. i’m your typical 23 yr old and wanted to give up a few
times but he was very encouraging and always there pushing me that
one step further.
I started
to really understand, by talking to Ben, my relationship with food
and how I really feel about myself as a person. I started to notice
how negative I was about my self image and how I would always have
an issue about my weight unless I started afresh and learnt how
to address my feelings and not turn to food every time for comfort.
What
results did you get?
I so
was shocked! The weight did not change much on the scales yet the
inches dropped off. I feel so different on the inside. When I started
with Ben I was a 14-16 and now I am a 12-14 and the measurements
are still going down.
I have
lost fat from my hips, waist and thighs yet I did not lose any size
on my chest which my Boyfriend is happy about! I can really tell
the changes when I look at my face in photo from before and after
we did the training sessions.
I
went home to Melbourne in August and my friends were amazed. My
parents and 2 sisters and my brother can see how much happier I
am now. Every time I go on the web cam my dad says how good I look,
which is great to hear from him. I know how happy he is for me.
My
friends were so supportive and a bit shocked I think when I ordered
salads for dinner instead of pizza and chips…ha ha.
Despite
these physical changes the the real results are not on the outside
but are on the inside. I know it sounds corny but I really feel
better as a woman now and have so much more confidence.
It’s
really a shock because I was focusing so much on the physical side
of me and really I should have always cared about my feelings and
self image on the inside instead.
I am
so much more confident now! I walk down the street with pride and
I hold my head up high instead of hiding behind others and trying
to fade into the backgrounds.
It’s
amazing that it took me so long to realize myself, with the help
of Ben, that I do count, that I am gorgeous person and I can be
happy.
I don’t
see Ben as much now because I’ve now got the confidence to work
out by myself and push myself in the gym. I’ve continued to go to
the gym 3-4 times a week which is fine for me. I’m a happy size
12-14 now and I do not want to lose much more. Instead I will just
focus on toning which is happening slowly but surely
