I got busy these last few days finally pulling in all the different areas of getting results – nutrition, exercise, mind set, stress, happiness and more into a complete model of results. I have been finalising this for a year now and though not quite finished we are fairly close. As  result i haven’t written a blog and cannot remember what I did Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I know I lifted weights Friday and Saturday. Then a cinema double header where i ran into Sam Feltham of Smash The Fat. In the films i managed to drink 3.5 litres of slightly salted water. As i talked about in my post on handling the cinema, this is one of my favourite things to do. Fully hydrate yourself while watching the film.

I competed in an athletics event Sunday. A long trek to Crawley but a gorgeous day for it. I am a bit sun burnt today, i didn’t think that was possible here in the UK. It was a disappointing day as despite a following wind I ran slow. A 12.4 in the 100m, 56.5 in 400m and a 25.1 in the 200m. I am sure going to bed 2am didn’t help either. But I got a kindle fire Saturday and now reading 5 books simultaneously. The track is annoying me a bit now as I am back into the swing of thing but just no top end speed, this is of no surprise as I am only allowing myself to run on the track once a week. So not had any time for speed work. Still, it is frustrating to limit yourself when you naturally enjoy running and this type of focus. But I committed to taking my body to the next level and this is a necessary step whether I like it or not.

Friday –

*This is my own 10 point self measurement system, it does not correlate to body fat scores. At a guess 40mm – 7.5%, 50mm – 9.5%, 60mm – 11%, 70mm – 12.5%. I do not take it everyday if looking to gain muscle or maintain as it puts me off wanting to eat more. If on fat loss phase i take it daily.
