Fit Bit Wrist Pedometer – I got one of these a few years ago years and never looked back, I have all my clients use one and I even put one on the dogs collar to track his movement ;) , I love the way they quantify how much you move or don’t move. It powerful to have one number summing up your exercise and through varying this vs your food intake results are inevitable and predictable. If you get one then be sure to add me as a friend – Ben on fit-bit.com. I always used the most simple version of Fit Bit, they no longer make their most basic version and thus you may find alternatives brands are more reasonably priced. You only need to count steps, nothing else. This can be done on your phone, but for some not all of your movement is done with the phone in your pocket.

 Massage Devices – If you know what you are doing with massage and trigger point devices you can completely transform your body and remove aches and pains. My main current tool to use is a lacrosse ball. Second to that it is the classic old Foam roller.

Body Fat Calipers – Stop being a slave to the weighing scales which only give unhelpful and demotivating behaviours. Instead use the more accurate fat measurement calipers. Though I still prefer to use clothes as fitness goals.

Skipping rope -Old school fitness techniques still work, skipping can be done anywhere.

Book – Oxygen Advantage – I have been using modified breathing methods for a few years now and have seen amazing results in terms of both fitness and food cravings. Finally a good book has been written on it by Dr Patrick McKeown.
