For most people they have a lot of trouble sticking to and adhering to an exercise routine. Therefore, any help is welcome. One way to do this is to ensure that you have measured some element of your exercise. Everyone will feel better if they see improvement, however, it is hard to see gains if you have not measured anything in the first place to compare it against.

I feel most people do not measure their exercise because they feel it is too much effort or are worried they wont see improvements. The nature of the beast is improvements are guaranteed. As for being an effort, it really is nothing more than taking a note of your best time, weight or similar activity. You do not need to try and beat it every week but you will find that every few weeks you will naturally set a new PB. This win will provide added motivation and encouragement to continue forth with your exercise routine.
