The
most commonly asked questions and answers are set out below. Just
click on the questions that applies to you. Many of your questions
are most likely answered in my weekly newsletter

Questions-
What
does the metabolic typing test involve?
The metabolic
typing test involves answering 150 questions which examine
your physiology and biochemistry. These questions are related to
your physical, psychological and dietary related traits.
Through
years of research the combined analysis of these questions is able
to reveal where your underlying
control systems are currently lying and what foods you
must eat to bring them into balance.
When
you balance your internal systems you will you lose body fat, increase
energy and improve your overall health.

Do you take blood tests?
No, we do not take blood tests. They reveal only of what is happening
in the blood. It does not tell us about the cells or other tissue
levels. For example, normal calcium levels in the blood does not
tell us what the levels are in the cells and bones, which is where
the calcium is needed.
The
metabolic
typing test looks at the body across all levels to reveal
your overall pattern of functioning. This allow us to calculate
exactly what foods your body needs, this is called your
metabolic type.

Can anyone work with you?
Yes I am happy to work with anyone if you are prepared to do all
the elements I teach. I have managed to combine metabolic
typing ,exercise,
Emotional
freedom technique (EFT) and other mental techniques into
a very effective programme.
After
working with many many people I now realize that without addressing
the mind with Emotional
freedom technique (EFT) and other strategies success
is limited for the average person. Therefore I only work with people
who are prepared to do EFT and look at their mind set.
I
prefer working with someone who has a specific goal. I love clients
who have a target amount of weight to lose or an athletic performance
they want to achieve. Any specific goal excites me. If we are working
face to face doing personal
training here in Clap ham, London, then it is very important
that our personalities are suited to each other.

Where can I meet you? / How can I work
with you if I live far away?
I am available for
personal training in the Clapham, Battersea, Wimbledon or Chelsea
area of South West London.
I
am available for emotional
freedom technique therapy (EFT) by phone anywhere in the UK
or in the Clapham and surrounding areas of south west London
areas.
If
you live further a field then you can still work with me through
my
online course. I have had some great results with previous
clients working with me in this way.

Can I just do the Metabolic typing / Exercise
or Emotional freedom technique bits of your service?
Yes, but almost every goal must have a combination of nutrition,
exercise and the mind to get results. So leaving any of these out
could greatly reduce the chances of success.
I
will do EFT
therapy on it's own for certain specific issues, e.g.
phobias, clearing emotional events, PTSD etc but it must be incorporated
to the nutrition and exercise for weight loss goals.

How much does it cost?
To work
with me on line it is £19.99 each week for ten
weeks (£199.90 in total). To work with me for face to face
personal
training, nutrition
or EFT
therapy it is £50 a session* or £450
if you buy a block of ten sessions**.

How long does the programme take?
The on
line course lasts ten weeks. My Personal
training programme is designed for you to achieve your
goals. You can work with me for as long or as short as this process
takes.

Does everyone get results?
Yes and no, everyone who follows the techniques I teach will get
results. In my experience the key is your mind set. If you are prepared
to use EFT and the other techniques it is almost impossible to not
get some great results. This is especially important for those working
on line as I cannot see you to check on progress.
When
I last reviewed the success of the online course I had a 90% success
rate for those who kept in contact with me throughout the ten week
course. However significant numbers dropped out before the ten weeks
were up. This would never happen if they had followed the mental
strategies. That is why it is a pre requisites of doing the online
course.

When
will I see results?
I can guarantee weight loss to those clients who are overweight.
The magnitude and speed of the results is specific to the person
involved. If you follow your nutritional routine and implement the
lifestyle techniques discussed you will in the long term experience
new levels of health, shape and vitality. In some people 'results'
are instant while others it takes time to emerge. The speed of results
depends very much upon your present state today and the unique way
you react to the program.
Saying
this I would expect to see body fat lost within the first four weeks.
For some people this is substantial.

What evidence is there for it?
The evidence for unique nutritional needs is comprehensive. The
fact we all look different on the outside points to the fact it
is completely irrational to expect us to be the same on the inside.
Examples
of how we are each unique can be seen when two people eat similar
foods but only one of them puts on weight. Another example is how
only some people get ill when the usual office bug goes around.
These
are all sure signs that your bodies are different which point to
the fact you should also be eating a diet specific to that body.

What research has bee done on your methods?
The nutrition system, metabolic
typing, has evolved over
the last 30 years and has been performed on over 60 000 people throughout
the world. It is now the most sophisticated nutrition system available.
Emotional
freedom technique (EFT) is the fastest growing branch
of psychology today with tens of thousands of case studies showing
it's effectiveness.
The
exercise advice comes from the research and related theories of
by pioneers across the globe including both leading Eastern block
and American sports scientists and researchers.

Are there any side effects?
The biggest side effects are improved energy, health, weight loss
and mental well-being. Sometimes the body can experience negative
effects when reducing and discontinuing carbohydrates, caffeine
and other substances. The supplements can also induce a detoxification
effect which again can cause some negative feelings. I aim to keep
such feelings to a minimum.

Will
it cure my xxx?
No, it will not cure your xxx. But it could possibly help it. The
majority of illnesses and health complaints come because the body
has been knocked out of balance in one or more of its underlying
controls systems.
Through
re-balancing this control system (s) you will see an improvement
in overall health and well being. At this point you will hopefully
see an improvement in your specific health problem.
Whether
it resolves an issue completely is depends upon the causes. My personal
view is to not worry about this condition or that but instead focus
on doing everything you can to improve your nutrition, exercise
and emotional health and then see where that leaves you.
As
you can see from the case
studies of people I have worked with it often produces
great changes in the body.

Must
I follow the guidelines?
Yes, failing to follow the program will inhibit the results. I do
this job to help people get their results and improve the quality
of their life. At the same time I have realistic expectations and
all my advice is aimed at being something you can maintain long
term.
The
nutritional analysis will tell us what your body needs to function
optimally. You must follow these to get optimal results. Vegetarians
are an interesting case. I cannot control the requirements of your
body or the results we get, if your body needs the nutrients found
within meats then I must advise this to be consumed. It is then
your decision as to whether you can follow such advice.

What
supplements do you recommend?
The metabolic typing test recommends certain supplements as specified
for your metabolic type. The numbers of supplements are kept to
a minimum and are used to optimize digestion and make up for the
short fall of any nutrients in your food supply.
Whether
you want to take them is up to you but they provide a fantastic
push to your body once you get the nutrition in place so it is highly
recommended. The cost of these could be estimated to range from
£100 - £150 during the course.
For
people who are against taking supplements I would suggest you try
them and if you do not feel better on them then stop.
